Volunteers

If you are thinking about volunteering, we would love to have the opportunity to meet you and share the many ways you can volunteer at LifeLinks. Many years ago LifeLinks was formed by volunteers and today volunteers are still an important part of the organization. Inviting people from the community into our organization ensures that we have the community’s support and input into our activities. Volunteering at LifeLinks provides benefits which are above and beyond those supplied by our standard program services and improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.

You can volunteer for one hour, once a month, twice a week, on Fridays, on Mondays, on weekends, or even once a year. Below are some of the ways you can help.

  • Quarterly dances
  • Annual Holiday Party
  • Reading to individuals in our Day Program
  • Healthy Initiatives Program
  • Sewing/mending services for group home residents
  • Administrative tasks
  • Small maintenance projects (painting, small repairs, etc.)
  • Seasonal yard cleanup

Volunteers truly help keep LifeLinks operational. We have volunteer opportunities for individuals and for groups looking to do volunteer service projects through their employer, service group, or place of worship. We hope you, too, will consider volunteering at LifeLinks.

If you or your group is interested in volunteering, complete our contact form, call Diane Baker at 978-349-3010, or download and mail a volunteer application form to LifeLinks Inc., 285 Mill Road, Chelmsford MA 01824.
